The Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Society is an International society dedicated to the ideals of Ultrasound
application to the musculoskeletal system. Over the past several years, the Society has grown steadily, with
ever-growing memberships from all the continents.

The number of participants also has steadily increased with ever rising popularity of this technique around the world. Although USA has been slow to catch-on to the subtle beauty of ultrasound application to the musculoskeletal system, the number of USA participants has been growing steadily over the past decade. We expect this momentum to continue, especially in light of rapidly changing health care environment and growing awareness of medical economics. Out 11th Annual Conference in Washington, D.C. promises to be the best ever, with introduction of new equipment technologies, imaging techniques and diagnosis of pathologies previously relegated to other modalities.
The Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Society is the only Radiological society dedicated to the application of Ultrasound to the entire range of musculoskeletal imaging. We are committed to teaching the anatomy, techniques and interventions applicable to the musculoskeletal system using Ultrasound, while continually defining its role as a major modality in Musculoskeletal Imaging.
